Greek music composer and song writer Mikis Theodorakis is telling on a
National Greek Television show that he wants his music to be shared for
free.
He says he feels embarrassed every time he is told that
his music has commercial value. "Artists should not live on their art"
is his words, before going on to encourage people to copy in their
computers compilations of his songs.
